24:10 – How did you get into SEO?

Being a Polish immigrant, reaching the American dream is one of the challenges that Matthew had to take. But having a good background in using computers, he was able to fortify his skills in SEO. He built himself up from the ground, and finally, one day, he was able to work at that company that he dreamed of working at before. This was just how he started his humble beginnings, and now, he’s one of the most prominent figures in the SEO community.

There was once when Matthew wanted to become a prominent speaker in the community. One day, Matthew met an NYU professor who turned his dreams of becoming a great speaker into a reality. Matthew ultimately landed a job at a New York University teaching a graduate class on Search marketing. Through this journey, Matthew developed his Book, “SEO Like I’m 5.”

Matthew’s love for mathematics inspired Alphametic. SEO is like a mathematical puzzle, and being it his first brand, he named it Alpha. Also, if you didn’t know, one of Matthew’s earliest clients was L’oreal! The story of how he landed a partnership with this company and other big companies in the US with Alphametic is a great one.
